Manatee Children’s Services (MCS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and empowering children and families throughout Manatee County since 1977. Our mission is "preventing child abuse, restoring healing, and strengthening all children and their families through advocacy, treatment, and shelter."
Through a comprehensive, child-centered approach, we offer advocacy, counseling, prevention education, shelter, and support services designed to strengthen children and families and promote long-term stability. Our team works collaboratively with community partners, law enforcement, and social service agencies to ensure that every child receives compassionate care and access to the resources they deserve.
At MCS, we believe every child deserves a future free from abuse and neglect. By focusing on prevention, early intervention, and family support, we are committed to breaking cycles of harm and building a stronger, healthier community.
